On Sunday, September 18th, 2022, the exhibition Christian Odzuck - A piece of marl as well as the participatory art project Please touch, Marl! by Manfred Webel will come to an end. The Skupturenmuseum invites you to a joint finisage of both events with coffee and cake on Sunday afternoon.

The exhibition Christian Odzuck - A piece of marl is the first solo exhibition of the Skulpturenmuseum in the new temporary building and was created by the artist as a site-specific laboratory exhibition. Three exhibition spaces that function differently, but which always relate to one another, deal with sensitive interaction processes between body, space and object and take the museum audience on a journey through the new material and formal worlds of sculpture in the 21st century. In Manfred Webel's project Please touch, Marl! the relationships between body, space and sculpture are dominant as well. With his mobile art container, which became a creative meeting place for participatory workshops for 8 days, he too ends his stay in front of the Skulpturenmuseum in the schoolyard of the Martin Luther King School on September 18th, 2022. From 12 noon, the objects created by the students in the workshops as well as Webel's own sculptural works will be presented.

Closing date, September 18th, 2022

Please touch, Marl! from 12 p.m. and Christian Odzuck - A piece of marl from 3 p.m. Both artists will be present.
