Cycling Tours
For many, the center of Marl with the town hall towers is itself already a particular work of art. Especially there, around the former Skulpturenmuseum and the City-See, many sculptures from the rich collection of the city are present. But do you also know the hidden art places? What else is so special about Marl? We want to experience this together by bike.
In addition to the bike tour in a rough South-North Route, from the center via the theatre, the Paracelsus Klinik, the Gänsebrink park in Marl-Hüls, to the landscape artwork "Wasserstände" (Water Levels), the Skulpturenmuseum Marl also offers a West-East Route, past some (probably) unknown surprises, from Alt-Marl via many worthwhile detours to the Sinsen train station. A brand new Circular Tour has been added, which leads from the city center on hidden paths to Hamm, along the Silvertbach stream, through Hüls and visits the most architecturally interesting sites in the city.
All tours include the transitional quarters of the museum in Hüls-Süd, and last around 3-4 hours each. However, they are easy to navigate and particularly recommended for those who want to (re)discover Marl from a sharpened perspective or see it from a new light.
You must bring your own bicycle to participate in the bike tours.
