The term PROGRESS stands for a progression or a transformation in motion: this is a fitting description of Stefanie Klingemann's artistic working style. The artist works in a site-specific and interdisciplinary manner. Her performances, installations and urban interventions are ephemeral phenomena that cause wonder - they clearly deviate from the supposedly familiar, but nevertheless fit almost organically into their environment. Thus, they create new contexts of meaning and open up possibilities for direct exchange.

The Skulpturenmuseum Marl is taking its own transformative exhibition situation at the interim location as an opportunity to exhibit her performances from the last 15 years for the first time and to take a detailed look at the artist magazine MOFF, which Klingemann published from 2010 to 2020. With a new work in the third exhibition space, realised by Stefanie Klingemann from donated old furniture in the Skulpturenmuseum Marl, the exhibition PROGRESS illustrates her transitory artistic approach and creates new spaces for encounters and participation.
