Once again, the unique cultural scene in the Ruhr area can be experienced in 2022 with an annual ticket: The RuhrKultur.Card leads to art in top-class museums, breathtaking theater and festival performances as well as to special cultural treasures that promise experiences between history, science, art and industrial culture. The offer is being expanded to include three new cultural treasures, but the price remains the same at 45 euros. In addition to the analog card in credit card format, the RuhrKultur.Card 2022 is also available as a digital eCard for the first time (currently only in the webshop).
The annual cultural card at a glance
From January 1st to December 31st 2022, 51 partners in 16 cities in the Ruhr area can be visited free of charge or at a reduced price with the RuhrKultur.Card. The annual cultural card includes one-time free entry to all RuhrKunstMuseen as well as to the cultural treasure partners. In the RuhrBühnen, a performance ticket is available at half price with the card. There is also a 50% discount on a performance ticket at the Ruhrtriennale, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, Ruhr Piano Festival, Mülheim Theatertage “Pieces” and International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. The card is available for 45 euros.
The RuhrKultur.Card 2022 is available from November 15, 2021 for 45 euros from the Ruhr Tourismus GmbH service center on the hotline 01806/18 16 50 (20 ct/connection from all German networks) or at www.ruhrkulturcard.de . All selling points, partners and further information can be found online.

The online guide www.ruhrkultur.jetzt complements the offer of the RuhrKultur.Card: The free, digital travel guide, which can be called up in any browser, offers information on the RuhrKunstMuseen, RuhrBühnen, cultural festivals and cultural treasures. The web app also includes a daily cultural calendar with exhibitions, theater productions and events. There are further tips in the categories “worth seeing”, “eating & drinking”, “staying overnight” and “also nice” as well as tours by cultural insiders. And with the integrated GPS navigation, everyone can find their way across the entire cultural cosmos of the Ruhr.
